The Alphen route
1.5 to 2 hoursFrom the town centre onto the Oude Rijn, up to the bridge at Woubrugge and back. Behind the town: old quays, back gardens and waterside terraces.
Wijde Aa and Leiderdorp
4 hoursVia Woubrugge onto the Wijde Aa, then back to Alphen along the Oude Rijn through Leiderdorp. A full loop without sailing the same stretch twice.
Westeinderplassen
6 hoursVia the Braassem to the lakes near Aalsmeer. Big, open, with islands and narrow channels. A proper day out.
